bloom to perish - "What Are You Waiting For" - Gwen Stefani
This is Sayuri again. I really like this piece, a lot. I think it's the best I have ever done! This is another sample for my art shop on Gaia, but I hope it get a better picture of it soon, because I had to fiddle around with it in photoshop and the real painting looks soooo much better than this. Anyway, I used a lot of my pens in this and I'm very pleased. I'm sorry if the character for 'Love' is looking a little weird, I'm not very good with calligraphy, but I thought it would be a good addition to the piece. Anyway, Sayuri isn't normally found in positions like this, nor wearing things like this, but I thought this was a good way to show her innocence and her bravery. I really like her as a character, she's probably one of my favourites as she is both fierce but gentle. This was a very good way to study her as a character and from this piece I was able to develop her even more. ANyways. BLABBER. BLABBER. Watercolour, of course! Sakura Micron Pens (white, black and gold). Roughly a day of work put into this overall. I worked on it over a course of four days.
